Oppose Bills Introduced Friday May 14th Attempting to Take Away the Right of Parents to Decline Vaccines for their Children
Minnesota Senator Chris Eaton and Representative Michael Frieberg submitted two aggressive bills last week to take away a parent’s right to decline vaccines for their children. This was an offense against Minnesota parents. Minnesota law protects parental rights and responsibility to make decisions for their children. Parents who want to decline vaccines for their children decline based on their conscientiously held beliefs. They also decline based on medical decisions between themselves and their doctor.
Minnesota respects and honors all Minnesota parents and their responsibility and freedom to make health and medical decisions for their children. It is their human and parental right. Governments must never attempt to infringe on the right of bodily autonomy and the inalienable right to make medical and health decisions for ourselves and our family members. Read Senate Bill Here.
