We are saddened to share the news that our friend and colleague, Anna Cox, has passed away.  We give tribute to Anna Cox’s vision and boundless energy for her dedication to homeopathy and to health freedom and for making the world a better place.

Anna was a great homeopath, who shared her skills with clients and helped to bring healing to many individuals and whole families.  But Anna did not limit her talents and energy to only her own clients.  Knowing the power of homeopathy to bring healing, physically, mentally and emotionally, Anna wanted all people to have access to homeopathy, and other healing modalities, for their healing journey.  And knowing the status of laws in many states in America, Anna was aware that legislative change was needed throughout the states, to ensure that practitioners of the healing arts would have the legal right to practice.

Anna understood the benefits of safe harbor practitioner exemption laws which National Health Freedom Action (NHFA) is continually working on to pass in many states. She also understood the importance of health freedom education provided by non-profit health freedom organizations.  Anna was active with our educational organization, National Health Freedom Coalition (NHFC), searching for more ways to promote health freedom and spreading the word to mobilize as many people as possible to make change happen.

Anna was a leader and board member for North American Society of Homeopaths (NASH), an organization dedicated to promoting homeopathy and serving as the voice of professional homeopaths.  And Americans for Homeopathic Choice (AHC) is an organization that was also important to Anna.

Anna was a woman of many questions:

How can we pass safe harbor practitioner exemption legislation in more states?  What can we do to support ongoing work in states where groups are working for health freedom?  How can we all collaborate together more effectively to reach success?

We are glad to be able to share the news that the family of Anna Cox has established a Donor Advised Fund in Anna’s name, to celebrate her life, and to provide a vehicle moving forward to support the homeopathic community with additional financial resources.  At Anna’s request, this fund in the California Community Foundation will help to enhance the mission of three non-profit organizations: NHFC, NASH, and AHC.

We at NHFC are completely honored and grateful that Anna’s family has chosen our organization as one of the nonprofits that the Fund will support to further Anna’s passion for homeopathy to be available to all people, and that all people can access the healing resources that they wish.
